GHIT R&D Forum 2024, held at Tokyo in December 5, 2024, marked the first in-person event in five years. Over 120 participants from diverse stakeholders, including private companies, academia, research institutions, and NGOs/NPOs, attended from Japan and abroad.

We would like to announce that a special website has been launched to provide video clips of the Keynote Speech and each session.

GHIT R&D Forum is catalyzed by the GHIT Fund, which acts as a bridge between partners in Japan and abroad to promote networking and partnerships in global health and accelerate product development.

The forum consisted of a Keynote Speech and 5 sessions. Experts shared ideas and opinions on needs, technologies, and product development in low to middle-income countries in the area of global health. Active discussions centered on the development of and access to new technologies and treatments for TB, malaria, and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).
